Event Details

Join this one day mass exploration of London. Walking in small groups from the outside of the capital to its centre, this is an opportunity to record and share experiences of one day in the capital. Each team will tweet, film, record, paint and talk as they walk to a final location where we will share and compare our urban days in our co-created and curated exhibition.

The purpose of the walk is the walk itself. Different perspectives on the city and our walks through it are very welcome.

The aspiration is to have teams walk as many different angles or Degrees of London as possible. The first four groups will start in the north, east, south and west, with the following groups filling the spaces between each of these segments in turn.

Starting points and routes will be revealed closer to the time. The walk will end at Ye Olde Cock Tavern on Fleet Street from 5pm onwards. The capacity of the hired room is 100, so if more than 100 people take part we will spill into the rest of the large pub.

Please join or create a group for the day by visiting this site http://urbanearth.ning.com/events/urban-story-walks-degrees-of-london .
